How to Commission Custom Artwork Online
A clear reference and a little planning make an online custom art commission more personal and straightforward.
Start with a clear reference or idea
For photo-based art, share the highest-quality image available and explain what you want to preserve. For an original concept, describe the subject, mood, colours, occasion, and any important personal details.
Choose the right art format
A pencil or charcoal sketch suits detailed portraiture, while canvas art is designed for wall display. A sculpture can be a more tactile keepsake. The right choice depends on the recipient, space, and story.
Confirm practical details before booking
Agree on the medium, dimensions, number of subjects, timeline, quote, and delivery destination before work begins. International commissions may need extra planning for packing and delivery availability.
